Revelation on Temples and Tabernacles

Sister Evan Sharley had been pondering on how Temples may function amongst her community for several months, and had been working on a revelation to present to her community. On August 21st, 2025 Sister Harper McKinney released her Temple Proclamation. Feeling as if the Spirit was moving amongst her community, Evan considered her revelation complete and released it that same day.

1

A. Verily, Evan, thou hast again inquired of the Heavens concerning holy places.

B. Thy Mother hath already spoken that any place may be set apart, yea, even for a season, for the purposes of Temple worship.

C. Yet thou hast beheld thy cousins in Missouri and in Utah, who possess houses consecrated for these purposes alone, and thy heart hath yearned for the same.

D. Therefore, behold, We give unto thee further light and knowledge, that thy soul may be soothed, and that the souls of others who long for a holy place may likewise be comforted.

2

A. Thou hast studied those who went before thee, even the Restoration Church of Jesus Christ and the elders of the Reform Mormon community. In this thou art wise, for their works and patterns are accepted of Us.

B. They called their places a Temple, a Structure, an Enclosure, a Tabernacle, and a Holy of Holies.

C. These were fashioned of modest materials, and might be borne from place to place. This was pleasing in Our sight; for We detest great and spacious buildings, for in their raising the poor are robbed, and the oppressed are made low.

D. Nevertheless, because thou desirest to know more perfectly how thou mayest worship in a Temple in thine own day, behold, We give unto thee this instruction.

3

A. Thou mayest continue to sanctify whatsoever space thou hast, as oft as need require.

B. Yet if thou desirest to raise a structure, let it be after the manner of the ancient Tabernacle of Israel, which was divided into three parts: the Holy of Holies, the Inner Court, and the Outer Court.

C. The Holy of Holies may be erected within a dwelling or a tent in the wilderness; and the Courts may be arranged according to thy circumstance.

4

A. Concerning the Holy of Holies: fashion thou a frame in length and in breadth and in height, according to the measure of thy need; and hang thereon curtains of pure white, that the world may be shut out, and the heavens opened.

B. Upon the veil of entrance set the marks of the priesthood, even the Square and the Compass, the Navel and the Knee, for they are symbols of the Heavens.

C. Illuminate this chamber, that thy worship may be seen of thee and of Us.

D. In the midst thereof set an altar, for kneeling and prayer; and when sealings are performed, let mirrors flank the altar so the sealed may gaze into eternity with one another.

Set upon the altar standings stones as tokens of Our presence, even as in days of old in the Temple at Tel Arad.

F. When thou enterest therein, cast off thy shoes, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

G. And if thou be in the wilderness, lay a carpet to comfort and protect thy feet.

5

A. Beyond the Holy of Holies shall be the Inner Court.

B. Place here an Altar of Incense; and offer frankincense unto the Fathers, and keneh bosem unto the Mothers.

C. Place also a table with a lampstand of four branches, to signify the four covenants of the endowment, that its light may be unto thee as the counsel of the non-gendered Heavenly Parents.

D. Place also a table of shewbread and of sustenance for the people, that it may be unto thee as the nourishment of the multi-gendered Heavenly Parents.

E. And if the people gather in the wilderness, let the entrance, if it be possible, face eastward.

6

A. Beyond the Inner Court shall be the Outer Court.

B. Place here an Altar of Water and Oil, where thou shalt conduct thy washing and anointings.

C. And beyond, place an Altar of Fire, for thy sacrifices, thy libations, and thy dances of rejoicing.

D. And if thou be in the wilderness, mark the bounds of the Outer Court with light, that all may discern where holy ground beginneth; and let the tents of the people be pitched round about, with their doors facing toward the Sanctuary.

7

A. The Endowments shall be performed betwixt the Inner Court and the Altar of Fire.

B. When ye draw nigh unto Our presence, ensure the altars are well-maintained and renew them if need be; then each soul shall enter alone into the Holy of Holies to pray, and then they shall depart, that another may do likewise.

8

A. Behold, thy predecessors dedicated such spaces for wise purposes.

B. The Tabernacle and the Temples of Solomon and of Herod bore witness that We dwelt among Israel.

C. The Kirtland Temple was dedicated to be a house of learning, glory, and order.

D. The Nauvoo Temple was dedicated to be a house for washing, anointings, and endowments.

E. The Salt Lake Temple was dedicated to be a house of prayer and worship.

F. The Independence Temple was dedicated to be for the pursuit of peace, reconciliation, and for healing of the spirit.

G. Even so, your Temples shall be dedicated for the building up of love, community, and fellowship.

9

A. Concerning the number of Holy of Holies: build only according to the need of thy community.

B. If thou art called to raise one, and to be steward thereof, gather thy people therein for worship. None shall be forbidden entry, for to bar a soul from holy ground is an abomination before Us.

10

A. Remember: revelation hath no end, neither is the Restoration sealed in one moment of time.

B. Therefore, go forth and worship and connect with the Heavens, so that ye may know Us and all thy Heavenly Parents.

C. Even so. Amen.
