On March 1st, 2022 Community of Christ redesigned its website. In doing so, they removed MANY documents which had cultural and historical significance. They committed to putting all of those documents onto a new church website, Our Ministry Tools, but the roll out of this replacement has been lack luster.
As someone who in intensely interested in the history and contemporary topics of Community of Christ this loss of information was quite disappointing.
However, the other night I was looking up an archived version of the World Conference Resolutions that were in effect in 2019, when I realized that the URL for where this file was structured in a very specific way.
For example, this is the URL for that WCR file:

I decided to try doing a wildcard search on the Wayback Machine after “Documents”, which ideally would give me any file which was archived under that section of the website. I was ecstatic to find that not only did it work but there were MANY archived documents there – over 500! There are even more documents the further back you check in that URL structure.
This is a MAJOR win for folks who want to access CoC history from the last 10 years.
